I have a 1979 320I and was wondering if this car is worth repainting? Body is basically dent free but it has small rust spots on both doors, in the lower front and rear of door, and one on the drivers fender in the front of door. The interior is actually pretty nice, clean bucket seats,nice rear bench, good dash, and carpet is also great. The headliner and rear window molding has shrunk and needs to be replaced but is still in place. If you think this is worth the time I would like to spruce up the exterior with the front air dam, the rear spoiler and the side trim pieces. What brand do I look for and where do I find them? As far as the rear spoiler goes will another cars spoiler work? Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

If you do a professional job and the car is special, it is definately worth it as it will help hold its value.

Do a crap job on a tired car, esp in a different colour and your resale value = zero.
