Window Problem

Hello all,

I drive an o-thousand 323Ci. Recently, when i flick my window button the window doesn't always stay up. A majority of the time the window has been going up then coming back down about 2 inches. Sometimes, when i flick the button it goes down instead of up until the window is at the bottom again. And now when i flick the button i have to wait a few seconds before the button responds again.

Just wondering if anyone has had this problem and is it an easy fix? Or, how much did it cost you (if it happened to you) to repair it? Thanks in advance.

try getting a used switch from a wrecker and pop it in there and give it a shot.

Actually, I would just swap the two switches and see if the problem switches to the other window.

If you're gonna search a wrecker, take the window regulator too. It fails fairly easily on these cars. Stupid plastic pieces. It's been a while, but I think part of it is bright green. Not totally positive though.
