Finally, after years of wait, I'm gonna get my hands on a Bimmer :)
After months of speculation, I'm getting the 335i Sedan, which I feel is good, practical car, and when required can become a rubber burner with ease.
I was wondering if the concept of track-days is popular here in the US as well? I've heard a lot about them in the UK, but they don't seem to be as popular here.
Any ideas guys?

PS: Unfortunately I had to get the Automatic with paddle-shifters because of:-
1. The pathetic traffic in LA
2. Scarce availability of manuals here(checked with a few dealers, said I'd have to factory order and wait 6 weeks)

Welcome to the board, and yes the "track junkie" is alive and well in the US. Visit your local BMW CCA website and you will find High Performance Driving Schools, "Car Control Clinics", and "Auto Cross" venues. Our local chapter here in Washington state has a number of HPDS's here at Pacific Raceways and in Bremerton.

Wow.. I checked out the website.. Seems like fun..
I'm joining the club as soon as I get my car delivered.

Also, I know you recommended Wheel Wax for the rims..
Thanks for that.. I'd hate for the rims to lose their shine..
