Saw the $300,000 Maybach today

It looks like an Infiniti, not really impressive or particularly "nice" from the outside - especially for $300,000.

The owner was driving 54 miles an hour -- apparently afraid to hit any cracks in the pavement.

What was sad & pathetic about the Maybach when it debuted a year or 2 ago, was that the interior, electronics, switches, materials, etc.. are 100% sourced from the 2000-2006 S-Class. Sad when your spending $300k+. What's even worse, is now the Maybach has the interior of a discontinued model. The new S-Class' (2007/2008) interior is SO much nicer than the Maybach. Dumb marketing move on Daimler's part.

From the same web page -- saw a video clip of Paris Hilton pulling this one
up a steep driveway (the car is very low) crushed the air dam/front. Then
backed up, and did it again. Then backed up, and did it again. And again...
