First post!
Anyway, I have my garage queen supercharged mustang for sale for lack of use. I only have 54k miles over 14 years and want a car that's well-rounded for daily use. For some reason, I sought after the '01-'04 M3 to fill my need [driving]
My only question is about reliability for daily use. I'm really unfamiliar with German cars which is why I'm hesitant on dropping $25k + for a used car. The M3 has the looks, performance, and prestige ON PAPER that I'm looking for...although I've never driven one...yet. Please give me some insight since you're the experts.

mustangturbo50, thanks for the offer but I'm hooked on the 01-06 M's...alot! I have told some friends about me selling my "baby", but haven't put it for sale locally or Ebay...yet. I will ask $15k on Ebay, but will take $13k firm if you're really interested...here's a few more pics.

What maintenance are M3's prone to over the regular car? I see a bunch on Ebay ('01-'03) for around $26-$28k with low mileage. What to look out for?

Very nice car, if you go with the '03 M3 or newer you should be fine.

'01 - '02 models did have some recall issues, but as with most BMWs they are normally addressed with each service.
