Interior plastic scrape...

I asked about this a while ago and didn't get a single answer. Hopefully some of the professionals on here have a suggestion...

On the grey plastic base of my driver's seat (where the controls are) is a scrape in that plastic about 2 x 1/4 inches in size and it is white colored. The scape is flat and the plastic is not gouged or indented. I guess the plastic BMW uses there is not solid and is just tinted on the outside. I must have scraped my shoe against it but can't remember when or how.

What is the best way to repair this. I'm concerned that painting the spot will look bad.

Any suggestions about products and techniques will be appreciated.

If the plastic is painted and the scratch is through the paint, you will need to touch up the paint.

if the scrape is only surface, a good cleaner for plastic or a polish made for plastic like Novus should work fine:)

Do you know if BMW (or anybody) makes something to touch up their interior plastic? I haven't had any luck in our local autoparts stores and I would hate to use something of low quality.
