Black marker on the roof of my car

Just bought my first BMW, a 97 328i, black on black. It's in beautiful condition, except for some black marker lines on the driver's side rear near the roof. Its on the felt-type material, right about where a toddler could reach from a car seat.

Any suggestions on how to remove it?
