Nah. I think the rotary i own is more work than just using my hands to add wax and get it off. Those machines have a way of making swirl marks.

I have tried the rotary pads and personally do not like the style.
I do loke the smaller pads made for the RO machine though.

I would never recommnd a rotary for applying wax.
A rotary is made for "paint correction", not application:)

Yes, the buffing pads are the thicker pads and flat.

My personal preference is contoured and 1.25" for a better "feel" for the paint.
Some may prefer the flat, thick pads..., just not for me:)

If I am not mistaken, they are manufactured for Meguiars by Buff & Shine.

I have used the yellow and white pads. they work fine. I put them in the washer and the loop part of the velcro got fuzzy, but I don't think it hurts anything.
